Autism New Jersey Announcement: STP Changes Mark Public Policy Win

According to a recent alert: “… the STP, as originally written, would limit housing availability and individuals’ choices. The inclusion of arbitrary density benchmarks would have made certain desired or necessary settings ineligible for Medicaid funding. We are thrilled to announce that the newest version of the STP fully addresses these concerns.”

Cape Cod Village: State OKs Orleans Home for Adults with Autism

Adults with autism are one step closer to having a supported place to live in Orleans, MA after the state Executive Office of Health and Human Services determined a proposal by a nonprofit group met the criteria outlined in the Home and Community Based Services rules. Congrats to Cape Cod Village!
